For those of you that have said good-bye to a precious pet, my hope is that you find comfort and healing for your soul as you read this book.

There are people in this world who never get to experience the affection, companionship, and loyalty of a dog. I am a person who has always loved and appreciated animals. It wasn’t until this sweet little furry creature came into my life that I learned some of life’s biggest lessons.
As a chaplain, I pray for people quite often. Many ask if I could pray for their dog who is sick, or they had just lost their beloved dog. They all have reasons why their dog means so much to them. They all want their dog to get better or their pain of loss to go away.
It took me almost two years to write this book after Gracie’s death. It’s been a bitter-sweet adventure through many memories. Through time and God’s grace, I have experienced healing and comfort. I can now help others to heal from their loss of a dear, true friend.
As you read along, my prayer is that you experience the love of your dog all over again.

What a breathe of fresh air to read a very wholesome and adventurous book. This little Gracie girl was so full of personality! Nara so eloquently relays the joy of raising Gracie, the struggles she and Ross encountered when Gracie was ill and later passed away. This book is a must read for all ages, young and old.
