My name is Lynette Cherie’ Roberts. I was born in Washington, D.C. and I moved to Atlanta, Ga at the age of 12 and graduated from high school there. My first year of college was at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Then, I completed my 2nd year at Georgia State University, in Atlanta, Ga. I met my husband my sophomore year and we were married a year and a half later.

My husband and I are currently pastoring at LifePointe Christian Faith Center (LCFC) in Coralville, Iowa. We are very thankful for all that God is doing in and through us. It is a joy to serve the people of God every day and to see their lives change and blossom into what God has intended for their lives.

Tommy L. Roberts Sr. is the senior pastor of LCFC and the love of my life. We have been married for 39 and a half year and we are still going.

My husband and I have two sons, Tommy L. Roberts Jr (TJ) and David Jamal Roberts. “TJ” is currently residing in Arlington, TX with his 2 children, Madison, and Myles. David is living here in the Iowa City, IA area with his wife, Stephanie and his 3 children, Aleighcia, Autumn, and Dominick. David also has a son residing in Rapid City, SD, Camden Roberts, our 6th grandchild.

We are so thankful for all that God is doing in our lives, in our family, and in the people that He has graced us to shepherd. It is a constant walk of faith. I wouldn’t have it any other way. It is always an adventure with God! As God teaches you this amazing “faith walk,” it becomes more exciting every day.
