Open Doors

The spirit realm, in general, is a concept many people know little about. It is not a distant, “out there somewhere” kind of thing. The spirit realm is all around us all the time. There is a seen part and an unseen part of the spirit realm.
Throughout this book, we will use opening and closing doors to represent moving from one space (or realm) to another. There are doors or openings in the spirit realm that the invisible (angels and demons) use as well to enter into the seen realm or to attack our lives in various ways.
The enemy doesn’t have access to you without a door being opened to get to you. You have a hedge of protection around you through the Blood of Jesus. You may need to develop in trusting God for the protection promised. This protection is our security until a breach or opening in that hedge of protection is created. We will call those breaches the open doors that the enemy enters into our lives. How are these created you might ask? That is part of the subject of this book.
We are going to look at various ways we open the door to the enemy in the spirit realm, many times without realizing we have done so. Increasing your awareness of this will help you to avoid opening it in the first place, and how to close it if you do give place to the enemy.
The first step to opening the right doors and closing the wrong doors is making the decision to do so. We must choose freedom so allow the information shared in Open Doors to start that process.
